Phoenix HEAT Wins Arizona State Top Prize Again
Phoenix Home Educated Archery Team (Phoenix HEAT) placed First in the High School division for both Bullseye and 3D in the 2026 Arizona Archery in the Schools Program State Championship held at Ben Avery Shooting Range.
Phoenix HEAT Team Members took 1st place in High School Girls in both Bullseye and 3D, 1st in Middle School Boys in 3D and 1st in Elementary School Girls in 3D and 2nd in Bullseye.
The team qualified for the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) Western Nationals tournament held in April in Sandy, UT.
The Phoenix HEAT have been part of the Arizona Game and Fish Archery in the Schools program for 18 years and the team has 35 years of combined coaching experience led by Head Coach Susan Konves with Assistant Coaches Lori Johannsen and Paula Macdonald.
Phoenix Heat Wins Western Nationals
The Phoenix Home Educated Archery Team (Phoenix HEAT) won the 2018 Western Nationals NASP Tournament in Bullseye and took 2nd in 3D. It was an amazing year with the team working together to lift each other up.
The team also took 1st place in Bullseye in the Arizona State Championship.
The amount of teamwork, spirit, camaraderie, and focus brought about an amazing year and terrific results for these amazing young people. Go HEAT!
