Who is the Phoenix HEAT?
The Phoenix HEAT was established in 2008 and became a 501(c)3 organization in 2017
Organized to be a part of and compete in the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) in which 18 million students per year participate
Currently a 3 member all volunteer board
Parent / guardian volunteer requirements
They serve the home schooling community in the greater Phoenix area
The team provides opportunity for all children on a first-come basis so as to be inclusive for student archers of all abilities
Teaches up to 40 children per year from 4th grade through 12th grade
Over 125 students instructed through the program in the last 8 years
They currently field elementary, middle school, and high school teams
